The negotiations are over with and it is official I am going to see THE WHO!! Yes I am very excited because I love the WHO and I get to finally see Boston. They better play Baba O'Reilly thats all I have to say, haha.

Since my last blog I celebrated a birthday. I am now 24 years old. Not much has changed. Lois Anne came up and celebrated with me, it was a good time. We had our ups and downs but I will also look back at this birthday with nothing but positive feelings.

I am winding down my first semester as a grade student. I have two more weeks of class and then I get a long break of 7 days before the fall semester begins. What was I thinking when i decided to take summer classes.

I was offered a graduate assistant ship for the fall, this is going to help me out soooo much. THe university now will pay for 3/4 of my tuition and still pay me a stipend for working. It is a sweet deal. The bad news is I am forced to resign from my current work study position at the end of the summer. You are not allow to have a GA and a work study at the same time. It was hard to tell my boss this today becuase I really do enjoy working for her. Its not much like a job but having a good time, hopefully this new job will provide the same experience.

I have been extremely busy the last couple weeks with classes, moving, and Lois Anne's 21 birthday bash. I have finished my first two grad classes and got A's for them both. My third class started shortly after and has been less stressful than the first two. I also scheduled my classes for next semester. I have class only two days a week and am loving the thought of a 5 day weekend.

I have finally settled into an apt. that I can call home for another year at least. i am sick of moving (twice in 7 weeks) and happy to be settled. I am very happy with my choice of apt. The living space is ideal for me and most importantly it is CLEAN!! i also live next door to my favorite bar which is a nice perk.

The next big thing to report on is Lois Anne's bday. This past friday Lois Anne became an adult which is great because now i dont have to feel bad when I go to the bar and she stays home. She planned a celebration weekend that would rival Mardi Gras. It begin Thurseday and ended Tuesday. She was a trooper, vastly exceeding my drinking expectations of her, and therefor I was proud. She also had planned a joint birthday party for her (July 14) and her mom (July 12) on Saturday. This was a great time to hang out with her friends and family.

The next few days her and I went on vacation to Atlantic City. We had a great time, did a lot of drinking, gambled moderately, laid out in the sun and most importantly spent some quality time together. After that long weekend it was time to get back to school and my normal everday life.

It was sad to see the vacation end and not have another to look forward to, but I am currently negotiating with my girlfriend about a trip to Boston in September to see the Who. So we will see until then Ciao

I haven not written a blog in a while so i supposes i have much to talk about. So let me begin delving into the beginning. My first semester as a grad student was disrupted by a freak floods which caused the University to close for almost a week. This was great because i got a nice long vacation to recharge my batteries before my final projects were due. I also had a lot of free time.
This is an indept explanation of my week home in Old Forge. Thurseday the 29th is when i came home I did nothing special during the day mostly relaxeds. I went to Lois Anne's cousin Phils baseball game during the evening then went to see Superman Returns. I was anticpating a much better movie. Don't get me wrong it was a good movie but nothing fantastic. Thats what I thought. I went home and then went bed to get my rest for Def Leppard.

Friday I woke up early to work on my instructional design manual. I was basically done writting it I just needed to edit screen shots using photoshop. This the majority of the morning annd some of the afternoon. Once my brother came home from work he destroyed all motivation I had to do work. We hung out for awhile then we got ready and picked up the rest of our group of friends going to the concert. We arrived a few hrs before Journey was set to go on stage. None of us were Journey fans so we opted to stay and tailgate a little longer in the parking lot. When we finished tailgating we went into the venue and got a spot on the lawn next to my girlfriend and her entourage. The show was ok, Def Leppard sounded good but they played a very short set which displeased us.

Saturday was a fun day for me, I did a lot of relaxing during the day and went to a few 4th of July parties. I stopped by Kelly Casey's party first with Shaun. This was a good time I got to see some of my friends for the first time in a while. I played some horseshoes and drank a couple beers. Then it was off to Nikki's party. I drank a couple more beers there and then ended up at Maxi's to meet Al, Chuck, Gilbert and Jon showed up later. This was a good time I always enjoy hanging out with Al and Chuck. We drank there for awhile and watched Pearl Jam storytellers. Then I went back to Nikkis with Alan, Jon and Chuck. i hung out there the rest of the night and then we all went home.

Sunday and Monday were very basic days I went to dinnner with Lois Anne, Jon and Camille to an Italian Resteraunt which I cant remember the name of. It was good I got some gnoochis. Lois Anne got a calzone that was the size of Montana...literally. After that I went home and watched entourage. Monday I woke up early to help my day move some wood. This took up my whole morning. It was a very hot morning not the type of morning you want to be up moving wood. After that I layed around until the evening. Lois Anne and I went to see "The Devil Wears Prada" at night. It was a pretty good movie. I was surprised that I liked it.

Tuesday was the 4th of July. Jon, Camille, Lois Anne and I went to Dorney for the afternoon. Dorney was a good time especially Steel Force. That ride left all of us speechless. When we got home from the park I went over Lois Anne's grandmothers house to watch some family fireworks. After that I went up to Montage Mtn for some more fireworks

Wednesday I had to go back to school and I was unpleasant. Oh well I guess had the best time I could while I was home.

I'm only this far and tomorrow leads my way

I am very excited about this blog because I have a whole lot to talk about. This blog will be about my trip to Herhsey park. The reason I went to Herhsey park was to see the Dave Matthews Band and OAR play. I have seen the DMB at Hershey a couple times now and have enjoyed each concert tremendously.

There was nothing to stop us from having an excellent day. That is, except for the RAIN!!!. We the weather report was calling for severe thunderstorms all day. This wouldnt have been too worrying, except for the whole 100% chance of rain. Well the weather people know absolutely nothing. We say no rain all day. So I guess 100% percent doesnt mean what it use to.

The day started with Lois Anne and I waking up at 8 am to take showers and get ready for our trip. Once ready we ran a few errands and finally at 930 we got on the road to Hershey. The trip was pretty straight forward we got there around 11 and waited for my friend Shaun and his girlfriend.

When everyone arrived we decided to eat lunch at Red Robin, this was my first time eating there. It was ok I had a cobb salad, which was quite tasty. The time spent at red robin was for some catchin up. I haven't seen Shaun in a few weeks and I don't know his new girlfriend at all. So it was good to reconnect with him and get to know her a little better. During lunch Shaun actually told me some disappointing news. He informed me that the Black Crowes concert at Montage this summer was cancelled. I was very upset because that was one of the concerts I was looking forward to all summer. Oh well!

After that we had a long adventure finding a parking spot. Each couple had trouble finding a parking spot, but once parked we were ready to hit the park. I have to say I am not a big rollercoaster fan. Well let me re-say that, I like roller coasters just not the ones that make me go upside down. So we spent the rest of the afternoon riding roller coasters ( such as, comet, wildcat, lightning racer and such). The highlite of the day for me was the Canyon Rapids, oh my god we got soaked.

After the park we grabbed a quick bite to eat and went to the concert. I have seen DMB over 15 times and OAR 3 times, so i was expecting a very good show.

The show was good. Oar was solid, they grooved and jam very well. I didnt know much of their songs but it was still a good show. DMB went on next and was alright. It was an ok show, I have seen much better but there were a few highlites. I enjoyed the playing of "Dreaming Tree" and "JTR".

After the show it was time to get back home. The traffic leaving a Hershey concert is usually terrible. This is when that 100% percent chance of rain began. It rained steadily the entire time we traveled home. We got lucky and made a few moves and were home at 230. It was a long day but a great time. Great day and great memories

Progress takes away, what forever took to find

Dear Grad School

BLAHHHH

Sincerely yours,
Jason

Well I think everyone can see that Im upset with school. Im very overwhelmed with work right now and theres only 2 more weeks left of class. I see that I still wont have a social life until my first two classes are through. Oh well, what else is there to do in Bloomsburg, right?

There are some good to report. I have gotten back to my hippie roots. Isay this because I have been listening to a whole lot of Phish and the Dead lately.

I found my sandal that was missing. When i went home last weekend my right sandal did not make the trip. I was positive that I packed it and I thought I lost it. I bought another pair of sandals while I was home, because I can not live without sandals. Apparently the sandal fell out of my bag when i left my room. Damn Sandal!!

The best thing to report is that tomorrow night (thurseday June 22) my wonderful girlfriend will be coming to visit for the weekend. Its too bad that I am going to be ass to ankles deep in work, but we will make the best of it. Aloha

and the squirming coil it got away....
